We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint at all levels of business.

RAW MATERIAL

• All of our products are made from Recyclable Plastic
• All of our containers are Reusable
• Over the past 10 years, we have decreased the weight of our containers by up to 30% while maintaining their structural integrity
• Source Reduction – by reducing our overall raw material requirements through light-weight options there are significant environmental benefits
• We sell all our scrap material to other manufacturers who use it to produce Second-Generation Products

PACKAGING

• All of our carton is made from 100% recycled fiber
• Optimized Case Pack sizes ensure that our carton consumption is kept to a minimum
• All our packaging is purchased locally

TRANSPORTATION

Plastipak Industries has 2 strategically located manufacturing facilities which allow us to manufacture our customers’ products in the facility closest to them thereby reducing the distance our products travel.

In addition to conserving resources by using lighter stronger more efficient resins this also translates into lighter loads and fewer trucks and railcars to ship the same amount of product.
